AIANY Community-Centered Design Grant
Registration/Submission Deadline: Monday, September 8, 2025
“The concept of community engagement is a critical process in which design professionals collaborate with stakeholders to shape urban environments that are inclusive and responsive to community needs. This grant will award $35,000 to one project that demonstrates a strong commitment to expanding community engagement beyond traditional requirements.”
The Architecture Drawing Prize 2025
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, September 12, 2025
“The Architecture Drawing Prize (TADP) celebrates and showcases the art and skill of architectural drawing in multiple formats. Established in 2017, the Prize has become a leading international platform for discourse around architectural drawing with both shortlisted and winning entries exhibited at Sir John Soane’s Museum in London. […] In recognition of the evolving nature of architectural drawing, including the growing influence of AI tools and techniques, this year’s awards will be judged on an overall basis rather than in category silos. There will be multiple winners and a special prize for hand-drawing to mark the initial inspiration for the awards.”

Stewardson Keefe LeBrun Travel Grant
Registration/Submission Deadline: Monday, October 6, 2025
“This grant is awarded to further the personal and professional development of an architect in early or mid career through travel. Travel plans should be focused on a selected topic of interest to the individual rather than as part of a larger humanitarian or institutional endeavor. If appropriate, the winner may be asked to present at the Center for Architecture upon return.”
NJAAW Housing Design Competition
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, October 31, 2025
“New Jersey faces a housing crisis. Not only are we among the 10 most expensive states for housing, most homes are 50+ years old, 2-stories in height, and both inaccessible and unaffordable for older residents. NJAAW’s 2024 Statewide Survey of Older Adults revealed that many older adults want to stay in their communities but face challenges with their current homes and lacked options to downsize. […] We are seeking submissions from architects, developers, and architectural students for innovative solutions. Submissions will be judged by a volunteer panel of housing experts based in New Jersey, who know the challenges and needs facing older adults.”
